About

Bruno Borge Independent Researcher (CONICET) & Assistant Professor | University of Buenos Aires

I am a philosopher working at the intersection of philosophy of science, metaphysics, and epistemology. My research focuses on scientific realism and structural realism, the metaphysics of laws of nature and symmetries, and the nature of scientific disagreement.

I am an Independent Researcher at CONICET (Argentina’s National Research Council) and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the University of Buenos Aires. In 2026, I was a Visiting Fellow at the University of Miami, hosted by Professor Anjan Chakravartty. From January to April 2027, I will be a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh.

My work has appeared in journals such as Synthese, Theoria, Journal for General Philosophy of Science, Manuscrito, and Principia, among others. I co-authored Ensayos sobre realismo y estructuralismo científicos (Comares, 2024) with Cristian Soto and co-edited La ciencia y el mundo inobservable (Eudeba, 2020). A volume on Kuhn’s unpublished legacy is forthcoming with De Gruyter.
